Pages Beyond Bricks and Mortar will be on site as the official bookseller for the Luminato 2011 Literature season. Events sart June 11 and continue to June 17.
It doesn’t sell online and it doesn’t have a physical location. It doesn’t pay rent, keep business hours, or have tables and shelves. But it still sells books, it’s still independent, and it still attracts a crowd.
2009 was a year when bricks and mortar turned into clicks and events-based book selling. We at TINARS felt the loss of our own bricks, Pages Books and Magazines and the year closed with the demise of McNally Robinson's barely 8 month old Don Mills location.
