The Long Trail

Ian Tyson has long been one of North America's most revered singer-songwriters. He began his career in the '60s and has received multiple Juno and Canadian Country Music awards, plus the Order of Canada. Celebrating the publication of Tyson’s highly anticipated autobiography, The Long Trail (Random House of Canada), TINARS is proud to offer a unique conversation between two veterans of Canada’s music industry. Richard Flohil is an acclaimed music journalist and impresario, who has worked with everyone from Miles Davis to Nana Mouskouri to Steve Earle. They will discuss the challenges of being a cowboy in the 21st century, while having a music career based on a ranch in the foothills of Alberta's Rocky Mountains.
